I stayed in the Chancelor King Room. The room was spacious and clean, which I really appreciated. It had some charming vintage decor that added a nice touch. The bed was super comfy, making it easy to relax after a full day. There were also great views from the window. Bathrooms were nicely maintained too. Just wish there had been a bit more shade by the pool for when I wanted to take a break. But really, it was a great stay overall!

Historic building, outdoor corner café, beautiful architecture
The wood shutters in the king room make it too dark for my taste!!! More hangers in the wardrobe would elevate the experience significantly. Also, the pool could use more shaded areas for comfort!!!

I stayed for a short getaway with friends, eager to explore Old San Juan. The location was fantastic, making it easy to walk to charming sites like the San Juan Bautista Cathedral and Castillo de San Cristobal. The rooftop pool was a highlight, providing a lovely way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. However, it could use more shaded areas for comfort during the hotter parts of the day.

The bathrooms were impressively spacious, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Rooms feature an interesting mix of contemporary design with classic touches that make for a unique aesthetic experience.
The lighting in the room could use a serious upgrade. it felt dim and uninviting, especially with heavy wood shutters limiting natural light. Laundry service fell flat, as I had to persistently inquire about my laundry, which was never finished due to holiday scheduling. Hangers were lacking in the wardrobe, which made it a hassle to keep clothes organized. Plus, the restaurant was closed during my stay, and while the complimentary breakfast was a nice gesture, it was quite standard and not memorable.
